List of things that I see will need to be completed for Words. I will need to set deadlines for completion.

Analysis (Partially Complete) through Product Proposal style.

Aim

Main functioning – what will the software do?

Graphical User Interface design decisions, how is it going to look and work?

Estimates as to the resources needed to develop the product.

The results of already complete study / algorithms.

Provide the reader with a clear picure of what the product will do.

Specification

It should un ambiguously describe what needs to be implemented. It is a very important step. Aren't they all important steps?

It should tell the developer exactly how it is to be coded. It is the message to the programmer what needs to be implemented.
