KTV: Song System

Should the songs that the user is able to sing come from the iTunes music library, or should it come from within it's own closed system? There are several advantages and disadvantages. Here they are:
Direct from iTunes
- Would have to join lyrics to song at run time, which would be messy at best
- Most songs are not instrumental
+ more integrated with existing apple software
+ users can sing from their own library
+ plenty of tracks available from the outset.

Own System
- More complex implementation
+ Control over the lyrics attached to songs.

Might be best to have an import option available to import from iTunes.
